The summer school on grazing-incidence scattering GISAS 2018 is organized by the Herzig group at the University of Bayreuth, Germany. As in 2016 the participating students will learn about grazing-incidence small-angle scattering using X-rays (GISAXS) or neutrons (GISANS) through practical measurements and theory lectures.
Experts from USA, Switzerland, China and Germany will teach and assist the students during the course of the school. Among these experts, our application scientist, Tilman Donath, will contribute a lecture on X-ray detectors.
