We are happy to participate in Microscopy Conference 2025 in Rheinstetten, Germany which will offer a variety of plenary lectures, scientific sessions and poster presentations.
Descriptions:
With the rise of high-throughput and data-intensive techniques such as 4D-STEM or cryo-electron microscopy and tomography (cryoEM), managing and analyzing large datasets efficiently has become essential for timely scientific insight. High-throughput acquisition generates data volumes that challenge traditional infrastructure, creating a need for more agile, scalable solutions.
Recent developments in microscopy software and cloud-based technologies enable live uploading, on-the-fly data processing, and fast feedback loops. These tools support dynamic adjustments during acquisition, such as modifying scan strategies, beam parameters or acquisition areas, enhancing experimental control and accelerating discovery. DECTRIS CLOUD makes use of these developments and provides integrated ready-to-use workflows and customizable processing environments to provide researchers with both: accessible data processing pipelines, and the autonomy to move beyond conventions and implement their own solutions.
This approach enables efficient handling of large datasets and fosters collaborative research across institutions to gain new insights in material and life sciences. It especially paves the way for broader adoption of complex techniques and supports the development of automated analysis pipelines, on-the-fly data processing, advanced reconstructions, and AI-enhanced interpretation.

Seesion: Pre-Congress Workshop, Research data management in microscopy
Location: conference room 12 (Part I & Part II) | 40 particpants
This hands-on session will show how structured data management tools make 4D-STEM analysis reproducible, scalable, and future-proof on DECTRIS CLOUD
In this 1-hour interactive session, we will put research data management into practice through a 4D-STEM workflow:
