Radiation-Tolerant Design

The MYTHEN2 detectors are designed using radiation-tolerant layout techniques, developed for high-energy physics, to minimize any damage from incoming X-rays. The detectors are able to withstand doses arising from long-term operation even at synchrotrons. In laboratory use, MYTHEN2 systems have a virtually endless life cycle.
